His path to orthodontics began early, growing up in his father’s orthodontic practice where he learned the importance of treating every patient with respect and genuine care. After more than 25 years practicing alongside his father, Dr. Harwell continued the family legacy at Harwell & Cook Orthodontics, leading the practice with the same commitment to integrity, consistency, and patient-centered care.
Dr. Harwell utilizes advanced orthodontic methods, including digital treatment planning and self-ligating systems, to deliver efficient, comfortable, and predictable results. He believes each smile journey is unique and is honored to help patients build confidence that lasts well beyond treatment.
Dr. Harwell earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University, his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry, and completed his Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics along with a Master of Science at the University of Texas–Houston.
