Hi there! I’m Dr. Anthony Harwell, and I’m so glad you’re here. I was born and raised in Amarillo and proudly graduated from Amarillo High School in 1988. My orthodontic journey started early — really early — as a second-grader helping out in my father’s orthodontic practice.
After spending 25 years working side by side with my dad, I eventually took over the practice, continuing a legacy built on kindness, dedication, and truly caring for patients. Today, I’m honored to carry that same patient-first philosophy forward at Harwell & Cook Orthodontics — and to help create smiles I know my father would be proud of.
Welcome! I’m Dr. Cook, and I’m so glad you’re here. I grew up in the small town of Meers, Oklahoma, where I first learned the value of close-knit communities and genuine connections. I was drawn to orthodontics because it blends science and art in a way that truly changes lives — helping people become their best, most confident selves.
I’ve always been especially passionate about working with adolescents and making a positive impact during such an important stage of life. I joined Harwell & Cook Orthodontics in 2014 after feeling an immediate professional connection with Dr. Harwell and discovering we shared the same patient-first philosophy.
