Dr. Anthony Harwell brings more than 25 years of clinical orthodontic experience to his work at Harwell & Cook Orthodontics, where he is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. Patients value his calm demeanor, careful attention to detail, and commitment to creating individualized treatment plans tailored to each stage of life.
Orthodontics has shaped Dr. Harwell’s life from an early age. Growing up in his father’s orthodontic practice, he developed a deep understanding of patient-centered care and the importance of long-term relationships built on trust. After practicing alongside his father for over two decades, he continues that legacy today by combining time-tested principles with modern orthodontic advancements, including digital treatment planning and self-ligating systems designed to enhance comfort and efficiency.
Dr. Harwell earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Baylor College of Dentistry. He then pursued advanced specialty training at the University of Texas–Houston, where he received both a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and a Master of Science degree. His extensive education and decades of hands-on experience allow him to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care in a supportive environment where patients feel informed, respected, and confident throughout their treatment journey.
Dr. Tanner Cook is an orthodontist dedicated to helping patients achieve confident, healthy smiles through personalized care. He is known for his approachable personality, clear communication, and passion for orthodontics as a balance of science, precision, and creativity.
Raised in Meers, Oklahoma, Dr. Cook developed a strong appreciation for community and connection—values that continue to shape his patient-first approach. He was drawn to orthodontics for its ability to create meaningful change, especially for adolescents during key stages of confidence and self-development. Since joining Harwell & Cook Orthodontics in 2014, he has worked closely with Dr. Harwell to provide supportive, individualized treatment rooted in trust and consistency.
Dr. Cook uses modern orthodontic techniques, including self-ligating braces and digital treatment planning, to deliver efficient, comfortable, and customized care for patients of all ages.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biochemistry and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma, followed by a Master of Science and Certificate in Orthodontics in 2014.
