Dr. Anthony Harwell is an experienced orthodontist with more than 25 years of clinical practice dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. At Harwell & Cook Orthodontics, he is known for his gentle approach, careful attention to detail, and commitment to providing personalized orthodontic care for patients of all ages.
Orthodontics has been central to Dr. Harwell’s life and career. He began assisting in his father’s orthodontic practice at a young age and later spent more than two decades working alongside him, gaining extensive hands-on experience and developing a strong foundation in patient-centered care. Today, Dr. Harwell combines that legacy with modern orthodontic techniques, including self-ligating braces and digital treatment planning, to deliver efficient, comfortable, and dependable results.
Dr. Harwell earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. He completed his advanced orthodontic training at the University of Texas–Houston, where he received both a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and a Master of Science. He remains committed to fostering a supportive, trustworthy environment where patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their smile journey.
