Orthodontist Dr. Tanner Cook

Dr. Cook grew up in the small town of Meers, Oklahoma, and was drawn to orthodontics for its unique blend of science, artistry, and the opportunity to help people become their best, most confident selves. He has always been passionate about supporting adolescents during such formative years and chose orthodontics to make a meaningful impact on their lives. Dr. Cook joined Harwell & Cook Orthodontics in 2014 after discovering a natural professional chemistry with Dr. Anthony and a shared commitment to putting patients first and helping them smile out loud, blossom, and show their personalities with confidence.

Education & Professional Training

Dr. Cook earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma. He continued at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He remained in Oklahoma for his orthodontic residency, completing his Master of Science degree and Certificate in Orthodontics in 2014.

Life Outside the Office

Outside the practice, Dr. Cook is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping, hiking, biking, fishing, and hunting. He stays closely connected to his community through active church involvement and charitable service, including regular deliveries for Snack Pak 4 Kids, helping provide weekend meals to local children. Dr. Cook and his wife, Alyson, live in Amarillo with their two children, Taylor and Clara, and enjoy exploring the outdoors together as a family.
